i'm in the midst of emptying out my grandmother's house and sorting through 50 odd years of photos, letters, dishes, and dust. it is both emotionally and physically draining as well as a logistical nightmare. but whenever it gets to be real bad, i end up running across something like this: a photo of her dog pokey at christmas. has there ever been a photo better than this? no there has not.
