as i recover from jetlag and the trauma of leaving byron bay, i offer these very nice photos of the art opening ceremony that was held at art park last weekend. it was a wonderful night and i got to meet lots of nice people. thanks all for looking!

i am leaving australia tomorrow to head back home. i have mixed feelings about this. i am using this melancholy photo of a rocky windswept beach at dusk to illustrate my emotional landscape.

here i am getting schooled by anne leon on mixing inks the aussie way. anne was gracious and generous enough to let me use her amazing print studio and help me burn screens and such. quality peoples.


the prints were so big it took two to pull that squeegee.


we rewarded ourselves by taking art photos on the beach.

in australia they will make fun of you if you don't pronounce the H on the word "herb". i can't wait until they come to america and i can laugh in their face when they try to talk about my herb garden.


back to the studio for a little hand-coloring. there's nothing a little extra love won't help with.
