the return and the beginning of the official print of the month program

ok. so it took me a long time, but this is it: the OFFICIAL BEGINNING OF THE PRINT OF THE MONTH PROGRAM.
what is the print of the month program, you may ask? well, i'll tell you. the print of the month program (henceforth referred to as POTM) is this:
every month, i make a limited edition print. that print may be a poster, a book, a shirt, or anything, really, as long as it is a print and made in a limited number, that number being 50 (fifty). i then make this print available to those if us who like artwork, prints, limited editions, etc for a reasonable price, that price being $25. cheap art using the most democratic of mediums, the print! many people love to look at things, enjoy the visual in life, appreciate the handmade, but that stuff can be pricey sometimes. also people often ask me what i have for sale, do i have anything new, and this is a way to say: yes, look at this stuff i made. so there you go. that's about it.

SO, here's the deal with this month, the OFFICIAL BEGINNING OF THE PRINT OF THE MONTH PROGRAM. i decided to make a book. it's a two-color silkscreen, accordian-fold, hard cover, handmade thing. it's about 11 inches tall and about 4 inches wide when it's folded up, and about 11 inches tall and 17 inches wide when it's all unfurled. keep it on your shelf and take it out to enjoy, place it on your mantle, perhaps. sometimes you just don't want to have to frame something. the title is GOLD LIGHT, it's a landscape/cityscape scene of victorian buildings that become ferns and vice versa. plants that eat the street, old wood becoming gold. check it.

here's details on the POTM:
-all prints come signed and numbered with a certificate of authenticity.
-$25, shipping included. just got paypal.com. my username is nb_russell (at) hotmail.com. be sure to include your address, hand delivery in the east bay and maybe sf.
-subscriptions available for $150 for 6 months. subscribers are promised a print in the low numbers, the same one every month. you also get 2 (two) free bonus items. not sure what those will be yet, but let's just say if you subscribe, give me your shirt size.
-next print becomes available on december 15th. who knows what it will be!

again, pass this on to friends who you think might be interested! and thanks so much for looking at this.

your buddy,
nat

relevitation

here's a recent poster made in honor of the event of the levitation of the Pentagon in 1967. look here: http://www.jofreeman.com/photos/Pentagon67.html
it seems like it might be a good idea to try it again. as soon as i get another van, it's on. a psychic van.

dream kat

until the long-rumored and fully functional website is complete, this will be a repository for drawings, posters, prints, and pictures. these two are from a series called "mongo fever" coming out any day now from Used Future, a swiss art zine.
